Have you ever wondered why God only gave the Israelites enough manna to last for one day? Or why, when Christ taught us to pray He said, "Give us this day our daily bread". And isn't it interesting that when the Israelites were wandering in the wilderness they neither reaped nor sowed and yet were fed every day. Hmmm, sounds similar to the words of Christ when He advised us to look at the birds of the air that neither reaped nor sowed....
I think this was to teach us to look to God for our daily needs, every day; not just on Sunday. So here's a suggestion to remind us to seek God for our daily needs.........the next time you are deciding what to fix for dinner, ask God what He would like.......and then thank Him for providing.
